County Chair

The county chair is the face of the Dawson County Democratic Party that works with other leaders of the party to set priorities, plan strategy, and execute that strategy. The county chair presides over meetings of the executive committee and manages the primary election, as well as chairing the county convention. County chairs are elected in their primary every two years.

Precinct Chairs

A precinct is the smallest political subdivision in our state, and precinct chairs are elected to oversee individual precincts. Being the closest to voters, they engage directly with them in their smaller geographic areas. Precinct chairs are elected in their primary every two years.
